Who We Are
We are a committed group of alumni and family members who created the non-profit 1833 Just Transition Fund to support the Oberlin workers fired by the College, which contracted out their jobs. We pledged that if the College changed course and kept the workers, the money we raised would go to support the College. Unfortunately, the Oberlin Administration and trustees did not change course. We stand with Oberlin workers in service of a united, #OneOberlin community.
